Cacao Ritueel op het Simmerskyn Festival – Ritual with Sacred Cacao by Pamayan

Tijdens het festival ligt er bij de Simmerskyn tent een intekenlijst klaar voor het cacao ritueel, mits er nog plekken beschikbaar zijn.
Op deze lijst vind je een QR-code waarmee je eenvoudig jouw ticket kunt reserveren en betalen.
De bijdrage voor het ritueel bedraagt €15,-.
We hebben de prijs bewust zo laag mogelijk gehouden, zodat de cacao en het ritueel voor zoveel mogelijk mensen toegankelijk is.
Voor deelname heb je daarnaast uiteraard ook een dag- of avondticket voor het Simmerskyn Festival nodig.
Reserveren kan tot zaterdagavond 19.00 uur.
Daarna sluiten we de inschrijving in verband met de voorbereidingen van het ritueel.
Contant betalen is eventueel mogelijk.

Ritual with Sacred Cacao by Pamayan
Cacao is an ancestral medicine whose wisdom has been carried by civilizations such as the Maya Yokot’an in Tabasco, Mexico
Their culture, tradition, and way of life safeguard the sacred relationship with cacao and the rich, biodiverse environment in which it grows, known as the Cacaotal.
The Cacaotal is deeply interwoven with the community’s way of life, shaping their nutrition, traditions, health, economy, politics, and spirituality.
This biodiverse ecosystem, where plants, animals, and humans live in harmony, reflects Maya wisdom passed orally through generations.
Wisdom and practices that are still alive today and that will be shared during our cacao ritual.
Pamela, a member of Pamayan, has received these teachings from grandfather Efrén Hernández, the spiritual guide of the Maya Yokot’an community and the 11th generation of the lineage of caretakers and wisdom keepers of cacao ancestrality in the present time.
This tradition carries a universal message of rebalance and harmony and has helped many reconnect with themselves, bringing balance, healing, and self-understanding.
For this reason, Pamayan creates spaces of connection with the cacao plant in alignment with and respect for its biocultural roots, while always honoring its living significance within the Maya Yokot’an tradition.
In our ritual with cacao, we will drink the sacred cacao beverage prepared based on the Maya Yokot’an tradition.
We will honor the wisdom of cacao, connect deeply with the plant, and invite participants into a space of reflection, healing, and connection.
Through the loving energy of cacao and the therapeutic power of sound and chants, the ritual supports the alignment of body, mind, spirit, and emotions.
